Make Vicissitude Great Again!

A Grimaldi revenant, one of the politico servants of the Sabbat Sect (and the Tzimisce Clan specifically) has brought his masters ill tidings.  Several powerful Tzimisce (Velya the Vivisectionist, Radu Bistri of the Purchase Pact, even the dreaded Sascha Vykos, Angel of Caine) have received word that the unthinkable has finally happened: a vampire has wormed its way through mortal politics and become President of the United States, leader of the free world.  The prize of Washington, D.C. was taken from the Sword of Caine during the Obama Administration, so much depends on whether he be friend or foe.

Unfortunately for the Tzimisce Clan in particular, he could be no greater foe.  The spy alleges that the Cainite claims to be none other Dracula.  Vlad Tepes, the Impaler, the Dracul, greatest embarrassment in the proud Clan that call themselves the Fiends.  The Red Star which still hangs in the sky, like a Sword of Damocles slowly bringing down Gehenna bit by bit as the years roll by, could not be a more ominous omen than that.

Perhaps most problematic, the spy says that Dracula is aware of the revenant’s nature and has begun the process of blood-bonding the wretched ghoul.  Any attempt to capitalize on his proximity must be swift.  In the face of the seriousness of the matter, not to mention the urgency, those Tzimisce who are aware of the issue have agreed to put aside their differences and meet.  The meeting will occur on neutral ground in the Clan’s ancestral homelands, Transylvania, under the waning crescent moon of August, 2017.

Character sheets and introductions to our house rules will be provided; if you have ever played the tabletop version of Vampire: the Masquerade then you will recognize the sheet and the rules will be intuitive.

Our game is listed as "mature" because there will be some adult content; Tzimisce lend themselves naturally to adult content so consider this your warning.  That said, we acknowledge the tongue-in-cheek nature of the game’s premise and we hope everyone will have some fun.

Costuming is very strongly encouraged; a game like this will be made as much by atmosphere and roleplay as anything else.

We also strongly encourage you to e-mail us!  Once you've registered for the game, please peruse the character descriptions below, then e-mail us to select a character for play and receive important information about that character for you to use in roleplay and costuming.  First come, first served.

This event will be presented at Gen Con 2017.

After you've pre-registered, e-mail us so we can reserve a character for you.

Dramatis Personae

Sascha Vykos

An ancient, androgynous monster whose name is synonymous with both its clan and its cruelty.  Perhaps the most famous of all the Tzimisce.

The player should feel very comfortable with the canon events of the World of Darkness.

This character must be played.

Radu Bistri

Powerful elder and staunch Sabbat founder, appearing weak and foppish but a talented politician, co-author of the sect’s defining documents.

The player should be comfortable appearing weaker than he/she really is.

This character is taken.

Velya

Helped create the Vaulderie, highly skilled at Vicissitude, considered the Sabbat’s greatest Koldun, known as “the Vivisectionist.”

The player should know about Velya’s relationship with his wife, Elaine Cassidy; we will discuss how to portray this.

This character must be played.

Yorak

The eons-old creator of the Cathedral of Flesh, thought destroyed long ago.

The player will have to accept some hosting responsibilities, to be determined with the storytellers.

This character must be played.

Lambach Ruthven

Participated in the Anarch Revolt, currently a lone Sabbat wanderer, sire of Dracula.

The player should feel comfortable keeping a dark secret.

This character is taken.

Kartarirya

Warlike, multi-armed Indian Tzimisce, allegedly one of the Eldest’s direct childer.

Obviously this character will require some additional attention to costume and physicality.

Righteous Endeavor

Witch-hunter and Priscus among the Sabbat, embraced during Puritan times.

This character has specific costuming needs, and the player should be comfortable walking the line between “firebrand” and “one of the youngest in the room.”

Vladimir Rustovich

Voivode Among Voivodes (in the 1300s), best known as a ferocious warrior and for his continuing struggle against the Lupines.

The player should be comfortable portraying an ancient, noble warrior.

Minerva Schwalke-Wojtkiewicz

The current Voivode Among Voivodes, thought by some to be a paper tiger.

This character is known for Vicissitude modifications, so presents a special costuming challenge.

Corine Marcón

New York-based fashion designer whose clothes are in high demand, despite being crafted from the bodies of ghouls and Cainites in a secret alchemical process.

The player should feel comfortable costuming a high-fashion character, and with being one of the youngest in the room.

The Little Tailor of Prague

Also known as the Butcher of Prague, renowned for crafting war ghouls, instrumental in the siege of Atlanta twenty years ago.

The player should feel comfortable portraying a character who is genuinely unsettling.

Landulf II

An Autarkis Tzimisce, an Italian independent aligned more with the Giovanni than the Sabbat, one of the few bridges between Western Tzimisce and their African brethren.

The player should have some familiarity with the African continent as it exists in the World of Darkness.
